Help Jamie with medical and living expenses

Jamie Heusser is a single mom raising her 2 children on a limited income. This Halloween, Jamie took her 2 children Trick-or-Treating. While leaving a house, she missed a step on the concrete stairs and fell while carrying her toddler son. Her ankle was fractured in 3 places. She underwent emergency surgery and now is unable to walk or drive for 6 weeks. Her toddler was recently exposed to COVID at daycare and Jamie had to stay home without pay while he was in quarantine.

Her work benefits at a local floral shop do not include paid leave. 6+ weeks is a long time to be out of work without pay, and the housing, food, and now medical bills won’t stop coming.

Jamie is a talented and hard-working floral designer who regularly takes on extra work in addition to her full-time job to support her family. While she is very skilled at her craft, her income even when she can work, is limited.
