Help Jamie Tomlinson Defeat Gastric Cancer

Hello. My name is Breaz DeRousse, and this page is all about my little sister, Jamie (Johnson) Tomlinson. On Thursday, July 8, 2021 my sister went to the emergency room and was admitted almost immediately. Pure devastation hit our family without a moments notice.

What? How? Why? No, I didn't hear that correctly...she's only 39. She just had twins. She works out every single day. She eats healthy every single day. There's no family history ... this cannot be accurate.

But it is. On July 12 we learned the official diagnosis, gastric cancer, and that it has spread to her spine. Gastric cancer is so rare, that it does not even make the top 20 list of cancers in the United States. This is insane! Jamie had been going to the doctor, seeing specialists, her primary care doctor and even urgent care when it was needed. She had been complaining about stomach pain for a while, she was eating Tums like they were candy and still new symptoms were occurring. I told her, "You don't need to be bleeding to go to the emergency room. Just go and they'll figure it out. You can't wait a month to see a specialist."

So she finally did when sciatic nerve kept her up three nights in a row and the pain was so unbearable that she could not function. This is just the short version of my sister's story.

Now here I am, writing this to all of you to ask for support. My sister has a very difficult journey ahead. And we must hope and pray that God will keep her present for her children - Bailey (4 years), Halle (9 months) & Brady (9 months) and her husband of almost 7 years (this September 2021), Daniel Tomlinson.

The picture below is of me and my sister in 1982. And now, in 2021, I'm gonna fight like crazy, along with her husband, three young children, our mom, Briana, and all of our extended family and friends to SAVE HER LIFE, and help her family the best we can.

For as long as I can remember, Jamie wanted to be a mom. Cancer can't take this away from her. It just can't. Your donation will help support Jamie's beautiful, young family, any needs they may have and of course additional costs related to her cancer treatment.
