Help Jamie Schwartz Battle Rare Leukemia
Donation protected
Friend battling Leukemia
Hi all, I am Denise and I am a long time friend of Jamie Schwartz. She is a wonderful mother, a Nana, a daughter, sister, aunt, and a true friend. She has no significant other to help with her expenses. Jamie has been very sick for over 2 years, in and out of hospitals with many diagnoses, one after another. The hardest hit was on 10/18/23. Jamie was not expecting to hear the words “you have a rare form of leukemia.” Jamie tackled it head on, working as much as possible while taking in so much information about a disease she had never heard of. She is treated at UNC Cancer Hospital and her medical bills, copays, travel expenses, and more have accumulated on top of her bills she already has. She is on an oral chemotherapy pill daily, and is not tolerating it well. She remains very sick and unable to do many of the things she once did to live a normal life. She has been on 2 other oral chemotherapy pills prior to this one she began 6 weeks ago. Jamie has missed a ton of work, and has been blessed to have had time donated by many of her coworkers but that time has been exhausted and she no longer has any income. The bills are mounting up, adding to the abundance of stress that she has already. Jamie is not one to ask for help, but always one to give help instead. Please consider anything that you can offer whether it be a donation, a share, or encouraging words. She would appreciate any and all of them more than you know.
