My daughter Jamie is just five years old, and our world turned upside down when she was hospitalized with pneumonia. She spent a couple of days in the ICU at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and it was one of the scariest times our family has ever faced. Thankfully, Jamie is now back on the regular floor, but we’re still at the hospital as she continues to recover.

Being away from home has been tough, and we’re doing our best to stay strong for Jamie. The days are long, and the expenses add up quickly—travel, food, and just the basics have become a challenge while we’re out of work. More than anything, I want to bring a smile to Jamie’s face with a pink heart balloon and make sure she feels all the love and support around her.
