Help pensioner Agnes rebuild home after house fire

Donation protected
My close friend Jamie's house, that he shares with his mum, pensioner Agnes Thomson, went on fire on Saturday morning. Fortunately,  him and his mother are safe, but shaken. This has left her nothing and will eat up any money she has put by in seconds. Agnes has worked all her days to help buy a home for her and her kids & is such a sweet person.  Even in her 70's, Agnes still works to this day & looks like she will have to to keep working to help pay off the soon to be coming bills.

The kitchen is non-existent, the fridge exploded due to the heat, the windows were smashed & the roof has severe damage and the structural integrity of the house has been compromised. There is smoke, fire & heat damage throughout the rest of the house, but the floors have been completely ruined from water damage from the hard working firefighters to put out the fire.

The home insurance doesn't cover contents, flooring, carpets, wiring, windows, plumbing & plastering, so I'm looking to raise a minimum of £20,000 for repairs and replacements.

Jamie is a top guy, caring and good natured, so for this to happen to him & Agnes is a travesty. Agnes should be looking forward to retirement, not the prospect of still working to help front the bills. I know we are living in crazy times, but any help , big or small, would be greatly appreciated and hopefully we can raise enough to help out with their building bills.

thank you
