On April 30th 2025, our world was turned upside down when my mother, Jamie, suffered a sudden stroke followed by a seizure. What began as a routine day quickly spiraled into a medical emergency that has left her fighting for her life. As she battles to regain her strength, she faces not only the physical challenges of recovery but also the overwhelming financial burden of medical expenses.

The Road to Recovery

Currently, my mother is undergoing intensive care, where she is receiving life-saving treatments and constant monitoring. Once stabilized, she will require extensive rehabilitation, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to regain her independence. Additionally, outpatient care and frequent travel for ongoing treatments will be necessary.

The Financial Strain

The costs associated with her care are mounting rapidly. Between hospital stays, rehabilitation, outpatient treatments, and travel expenses, we are facing a financial burden that is beyond our means.
