Help Jamie Prager Fight Multiple Myeloma

A devoted father and friend needs our support.

Our friend Jamie Prager has recently received life-altering news: he’s been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a serious, aggressive and rare form of blood cancer. As he prepares to fight this battle, he faces not only the emotional and physical toll of cancer—but also the financial strain that comes with it. Jamie has already had two surgeries.

Jamie is a loyal, hardworking single dad to two amazing kids: Taylor, a senior in high school, and Tyler, a junior who plays football for Oskaloosa High School in Kansas. His world revolves around his children, and he's doing everything he can to stay strong for them. He wants to be there to cheer for Tyler on the football field. He wants to see Taylor walk across the graduation stage. He wants to be there for the small, quiet moments — dinners at home, late-night talks, and all the beautiful, ordinary parts of fatherhood he cherishes so deeply.

As part of his treatment, Jamie will eventually undergo a bone marrow transplant and will be off work for an extended period. While he will be on Long-Term Disability, it only provides 50% of his income—making it incredibly difficult to keep up with everyday expenses, medical bills, and providing for Taylor and Tyler.

Anyone who knows Jamie will tell you: he's the guy who always shows up. The one who puts others before himself, offers a helping hand without being asked, and makes people feel seen, supported, and cared for. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel better just by being in the room—funny, big-hearted, and full of compassion and loyal. He never asks for help. Now, it's our turn to show up for him.
