hi, im jamie. im a disabled trans artist who is constantly struggling to make it by with bills and the costs of living.

one of the biggest chunks of money that comes out of my very limited income is my car payment. in 2023, my old car was dying on me, and becoming far too expensive to maintain for how it ran. this lead me to needing to take out a loan and put it all towards something more reliable. my options were limited, and i managed to land on a car that had great mileage and was known for lasting a long time.

unfortunately as we all know, car loans are inherently scams. my monthly payment was way more than it should be, because my credit isnt the best and i had no one to cosign at the time. i had initially planned to very quickly refinance it, and have a family member cosign to get my payment lower. this person is no longer involved with our family, and that was no longer an option.

im asking for help paying off a large chunk of the rest of my loan, its one of the main factors keeping my head above water. i work very limited hours at my barista job due to my disability, and i can only take so many commissions a month.

one of the main reasons im looking to pay off this debt, is because my family is refinancing a house payment next year, and being able to contribute every little extra bit i can towards that payment would be wildly beneficial to keeping a roof above our heads.

please consider sharing, please consider helping. every little bit goes a long way. im going to continue to work, and look for other options, and take commissions, but for now im reaching out for help with this specific burden.
