Hi, everyone. I have never done this before. But today, I am reaching out to my community network of friends for support. Because I need your help.

I am in a dire situation. I am sick with pneumonia. A week ago, it was so bad that I didn't know if I was going to live or die. Now, thankfully, I am in a better place; and with God's help, I am confident that I am going to beat this thing and I WILL survive! (Praise the Lord.)

However, this illness has kept me sick in bed for 7 days straight so far (today is day 8), and the doctor said that I will have to remain on bed rest until this coming Friday at least. And if I try to overexert myself before I am fully recovered, that could set back my progress for days. So I do not want to do that.

What does this mean? Well, obviously I can't leave the house. …But what does THAT mean? It means that I cannot go to work! And this is a HUGE problem! Because I work for a living. I don't receive any Social Security money from the government. On top of that, I'm an independent contractor. So I have no medical leave benefits or paid time off or anything like that. I'm out here all on my own.

So, while I'm grateful that I currently have all my physical needs taken care of, the issue remains that I still have bills to pay. And I have zero money. And I have no way of making money. Because I'm sick.

So, as you can see, I'm in a really bad situation here.

Normally, when I need money, I go out there and get it. Because I'm a go-getter. I work hard. I live by myself, so the buck stops here. I take care of my business. Because I don't have any other option.

But now, I am up a creek without a paddle. Because my body has been taken out completely. So I don't have the ability to physically do anything.

I have several bills that need to be paid, which I currently have no way of paying. They are as follows:

October car payment

October car insurance

October electric bill

November rent

November car insurance

I hate to beg, but if there's anything at all that you can do to help, I would very greatly appreciate your help. (Even if it’s $1! Every little bit counts!)

P.S. In case anyone is wondering: NONE of this money will be going to purchase alcohol. Because I don't drink alcohol. None of this money will be going to cigarettes. Because I don't smoke. None of this money will be going to pay for drugs. Because I don't use drugs.
