Hi folks!

Jamie  -- bike community member, karaoke singer, kind friend extraordinaire -- had a stroke on December 5th after some time of poor health. With his long-term health struggles, he is also in real financial need. He owes taxes on his home and bills for basic utilities (water, electricity, gas); without these funds he stands to lose his home to the county on December 31st. Right now, he is working on rehab and learning to talk again, but he's fully aware of his situation, and the stress of not knowing what is happening with his home makes it hard to focus on learning to move and talk again. If we can make sure he has a home to go back to when he is well, that will reduce his stress, help him stay motivated and focused to get well and get home. These early weeks are critical for his recovery. 

He wants you all to know how much he loves you and appreciates your support: his community of bike people and singers and friends has always been loving and generous and we in his family have hope that you will come through for him during these holidays. Thank you so much for your support!
