Our mutual, dear friend Jamie needs your help. If you know and love Jamie as I do, you know she is a champion for justice and for all people. She's also one tough person who never backs down from doing what is right.

I'm reaching out to you because Jamie needs our help. She is battling cancer AGAIN. This in and of itself would take a heavy toll on any of us. For Jamie, this is a rematch with a formidable foe. But, if cancer thinks Jamie is a push over, it has another thing coming. Jamie is ready for the fight!

However, Jamie's ability to knock this chump out is being complicated by the medical insurance company that demands their extortion money from every check Jamie earns. Just when she needs them, they are refusing to fund the surgery she desperately needs to win this fight. Despite her doctor's approval of a surgical solution to her problem, the insurance company is insisting she first undergo more chemo and radiation treatments before they will pay for her operation. Jamie has struggled through these treatments before. The last time she battled cancer, she suffered major complications from chemo. So, she has bravely chosen to go the surgery route.

It is imperative that we all help Jamie and Shannon through this trying time. They can't clean cancer's clock alone.
