Hi, my name is Lindsay, and I have organized this fundraiser to help my dear friend Jamie get back on her feet. I have known Jamie for eight years; she is the best friend and mother anyone could ever ask for. She is recently separated and a mother of two amazing kids- Casey (11) and Philip (5). It's been a tumultuous year for the family as she is navigating parenthood as a single woman on a fixed income. Jamie is an Education Assistant with the Calgary Board of Education, she works hard, but without help- it's a struggle to make ends meet. Yesterday, November 22, Jamie's mother, Debbie, passed away unexpectedly. On top of the heartbreak of losing her mother, Jamie is also faced with new and increasing expenses. Debbie lived with and helped Jamie with childcare and contributed to the bills and mortgage. Without Debbie, Jamie and her children need help to make ends meet. Can you please spare a few dollars to help this amazing Mom!
