Jamie is my dear friend, and right now, he’s facing one of the toughest challenges of his life. Several months ago, Jamie was diagnosed with avascular necrosis—a condition where the blood supply to his hip stops, causing the bone to die. This has left Jamie in constant pain and unable to walk without discomfort. The only solution is a full hip replacement, but without insurance and after being unable to work since January, Jamie is struggling to find a way forward. Despite trying to get insurance multiple times, Jamie keeps getting denied, leaving him with no options for help.
