Trust Fund for Lyssa and Any needs she may have.
I'm Tyler Bost, Jamie Franks’ oldest son. Jamie was shot and killed in her home on August 22, 2021. We are creating this fundraiser to help with any expensives for Lyssa and the rest will go into a trust fund for her as she may need it. Donations received will also support Jamie’s youngest daughter, Lyssa, who was in the home when the incident occurred and called 911 for help. She is a brave and resilient kid, and anything you can donate will help us buy her the things she needs during this unfortunate time. Jamie also has four other children, Lexi Lawing, Destiny King, Christian Smith, and Starla Smith. We appreciate any donations, shares, prayers, or just kind words throughout this whole ordeal, as none of us expected anything of this sort to happen. This is all just a huge shock to all of us, and we are figuring it out along the way.
The neighbor who selfishly took our mother’s life had multiple previous assault and rape charges. Jaime had sought help from the police prior to the fatal incident, but no action was taken. We pray for the safety of our police officers, but we also pray for an improvement in our justice system so no other family has to go through the pain of a preventable tragedy.
