During a horseback ride with friends, a joyful experience turned into a serious accident that left Jamie injured and in need of urgent care.

Due to concern for her spine, an ambulance was called to stabilize her and transport her to the hospital to determine the full extent of her injuries. She broke her collarbone on her right side, which is her dominant arm. She must keep it immobilized in a sling for a minimum of six weeks. Please pray that it heals properly on its own; otherwise, further intervention may be required.

As a housekeeper, Jamie’s job depends entirely on her physical ability. Because of this injury, she is unable to work for at least six weeks, leaving her without income.

To make matters even more overwhelming, Jamie does not have health insurance and is now facing medical bills from the ambulance ride and emergency room visit—on top of her everyday living expenses.

I’d like to take a moment to say that Jamie is so much more than her current situation. She is someone who has brought people together in a meaningful way. She started the North Idaho Singles group—not as a dating group, but as a social group; a space where people can find community, build friendships and feel less alone. It encourages people to get out, meet in person, and form real, lasting relationships. Because of her, so many of us have found genuine friendships and a sense of belonging.

She has given so much to others—now she needs our support.

This fundraiser is to help cover her lost wages and medical expenses so she can focus on healing without the added stress of financial uncertainty.
