Hi ya'll

For those who don't know, my name is Jamie, and, I really need help.

I don't like asking for help in the first place, and I'm struggling to even type any of this out. However, many of my friends have pushed me to set this up despite my resistance.

On September 5th, I was blindsided by a very sudden break up. I had just emptied my savings to pay for September’s rent, and moved to an area of Houston to be close to my ex partner’s school. I was told to speak to their parents regarding the lease with no other details given. I couldn’t afford this apartment on my own, and it is a 30-45 minute commute from my full time job. I was also incredibly uncomfortable staying there alone with their cat and my two animals, so I packed my things.

I found a potential apartment complex that, though it's not available for another two months, is looking like it fits everything I need. Location is great, nothing too fancy, affordable enough, and room for my things and animals.

My goal is to raise enough for initial move in costs, 1 month's rent, 1 month's utility, minor groceries maybe and paper products, as well as some money to go towards my car. From there, I should be able to rebuild my savings account and move forward.

If you read all of this, thank you so much. Feel free to ask me any questions, as I am a very transparent person and am happy to answer you. Please also avoid any negativity, harassment toward parties involved, etc. This is an unfortunate situation, but I dont wish hate on anyone for things not working out as we both hoped they would. I just want to make sure that I'm okay, and not in a bad situation because of these circumstances.
