Help Aunt Jamie Support Uncle Don Post Brain Surgery

My name is Rachel Baumann, and I am looking to help my Aunt Jamie raise some money for my Uncle Don's medical bills. In November of 2023, my Uncle Don was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (aka - a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor). There were no signs that anything was wrong with him, and then suddenly, over a 2-day period, his health rapidly declined, and he was sent to the ER. After his diagnosis there, he was immediately sent into surgery for removal of the tumor.

Unfortunately, less than a year later, the story has repeated itself, and he has just undergone a second, more invasive surgery. As of writing this, we are still waiting for him to wake up from the operation :/

Uncle Don was always a happy, funny man who knew how to liven up the room with his humorous banter and charismatic personality. He was an amazing cook, notably his delicious meatloaf and BBQ skills. Even just sitting around the kitchen table for a cup of coffee with him would help make you feel like life could slow down for a few minutes.

My Aunt Jamie was able to stay afloat financially after the first surgery due to the help of her family. But now she will have more medical bills on her plate and no more PTO to use at work, since it hasn't yet been a year since the first surgery. I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help her be able to take that unpaid time off work in this critical moment, without having to worry about paying the monthly medical bills.

She wants nothing more than to be with her husband while he recovers, and I know that she would be forever grateful for any contribution that you are able to provide; as would I.
