Jameson is my 6-year-old German Shepherd, and he means the world to our family. Yesterday morning, he suddenly became very ill—he threw up twice in his cage, and when I took him outside, he was slow and in obvious pain. I rushed him to the vet, where they discovered a splenic mass that needed immediate surgery. After an ultrasound, they realized he actually needed to have his kidney removed. During the operation, Jameson lost a lot of blood, and the vets told me he probably wouldn’t make it off the table. As they were talking to me about euthanasia, they decided to try one last Hail Mary. Miraculously, they stopped the bleeding and stabilized him, and Jameson walked out of the operating room—a true fighter.

When we got him home, he had a small drip coming from his sutures. While we were tending to it, he suddenly stopped breathing and went limp. We rushed him to the ER, and thankfully, they were able to stabilize him again. At this point, we have already spent a significant amount on his care, and he is still in the ICU being monitored around the clock. The funds raised here will go directly toward Jameson’s ongoing care and recovery, giving him the best chance to heal and come home to us.
