I am James Smith, and my wife and I own Lone Star Glass and Gutter, a window cleaning company in Fort Worth, Texas. Our business has supported our small family for eight years, but I am now in the unfortunate position of needing to ask for help from the community.

This past Friday (the 13th), I sustained injuries from a 10-12 foot fall from a ladder while working on a customer's windows. The fall left me with a fracture in my wrist, requiring a $15,000 surgery, as well as two fractures in my foot that will also likely require surgery (we're waiting on a CT scan to confirm this).

This is a tremendous financial burden that my family and I did not foresee and were unprepared for.

Any help from the community would be most appreciated! All donations will be used for covering the cost of surgery, any further X-rays, scans, and follow-up appointments, as well as ongoing physical therapy.
