James Wehr brought people together.

Through South OC Cars and Coffee, the community James created with his father Simon and their family, James helped build a place where car lovers of every generation could show up, connect, and belong. What grew from a shared love of cars became one of the largest weekly car gatherings anywhere, powered by James, his family, dedicated volunteers, photographers, and the people who came back week after week.

Now James's family is facing an unimaginable loss, along with funeral and memorial costs, household bills, professional fees, and other unexpected expenses that can arrive all at once after a tragedy. They should have the space to grieve without carrying that financial weight alone.

We are raising $100,000 to support James's family through the months ahead and help preserve the community he and his family built together. Funds will help with immediate family expenses, memorial costs, unexpected professional expenses, and the work required to keep South OC Cars and Coffee moving forward in James's memory.

This fundraiser is organized for James's family, and a member of the Wehr family will be added as the beneficiary so funds can be transferred directly to them.
