Hi I am Travis Fante. My bestfriend James Mcelwee recently got diagnosed with some form of cancer in his back and a tumor on the front of his Brain. I was working as a 911 dispatcher when I received the 911 call from his father needing an ambulance due to my buddy James needing one due to severe pain in his legs and back. His father said he couldn’t barely move and he couldn’t even walk. I had no clue James was even hurt or sick so this was incredibly scary and shocking for me. James and I have known each other and have been good friends for the last 8 years or so. James is a great friend, always willing to help and hangout when you reach out and is very loving and caring. I’m sure he is feeling incredibly down, sad, depressed and worried like crazy. He is only 34 years old and was an abled body man. This has to be the hardest thing he’s ever faced in his life and it’s completely out of his control. He’s a strong man and a fighter. He had recently I’ve the last or two started his own business as an electrician. With this new health issue he will be unable to work as his job was very physically demanding.

James has been in the hospital for the last few weeks and recently started chemo therapy treatment and will be there for another few weeks.
