My name is Billie, and I am raising funds for my brother, James Stephens. James has stage 5 renal disease and has been on dialysis three times a week for the past five years. His doctors have recommended that he receive a kidney transplant as soon as possible, but the initial costs connected to this process are more than our family can manage on our own. This fundraiser is meant to help James get back on the donor list and move forward with the care he urgently needs.

The funds will help cover some of the known expenses we are facing right now, including a one-month hotel stay near the hospital for James, a required caregiver staying at the hotel, one month of caregiver support, and ongoing travel expenses for weekly checkups between San Angelo and Dallas after the initial month.
