My name is James, and I'm a Marine veteran living with my service dog, Scooby. Recently, my van caught fire and exploded, leaving us with nothing. Everything I owned was lost in the fire, and now Scooby and I are trying to rebuild our lives from scratch. The experience has been overwhelming, but Scooby has been my constant companion through it all.

The funds raised will help us find a safe place to stay, like an Airbnb, and cover essentials such as clothes, food, and dog food for Scooby. If possible, your support may also help us work towards getting another van or RV so we can have a stable home again. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in helping us get back on our feet.

Asking for help is something I've never done before. I grew up in foster care and have always figured things out on my own.
