Help James Recover from Severe Heel Injury

Hello my name is james im 47, I've been a finish carpenter for 27 years, times being tough as we all know I had to make a decision between a vehicle or a apartment so o obviously chose the latter. Living in New Haven & working in Clinton I bought a electric scooter with a hour bus ride in between , so long story short on my way back home I hit a pothole on Howard Ave in New Haven fell and shattered my heel like a eggshell is what the surgeon told me.
