We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friend James Reid, who is going through an unimaginably difficult time.

James recently lost his job—an already challenging situation that left him struggling to make ends meet. As if that hardship weren’t enough, tragedy struck again: James lost his home and everything he owned in a devastating fire. Thankfully, he made it out safely, but the fire took nearly all of his belongings, his sense of stability, and the place he called home.

James is the kind of person who always shows up for others. He’s thoughtful, generous, and strong—but right now, he needs us.

We’re raising funds to help James cover:

    •    Emergency shelter and short-term housing

    •    Basic necessities like clothing, food, and hygiene items

    •    Rebuilding and recovery costs

    •    Job search support (transportation, technology, etc.)
