2 months ago my brother James Preston went to the walk in medical clinic with stomach pains. 3 days later he received devastating news - pancreatic and liver cancer. This was a shocking blow to his family, as his wife had just finished 3 years of dialysis and gotten her brand new kidney.

James is still trying to work as there is no insurance and still must try to provide for his family. The doctor's have said his journey will not be a long one, but if he does chemotherapy it will extend his quality of life for a little bit longer. Trying to work and doing chemo really is not an option.

As his sister it makes me so sad and helpless to see him and his family go through this. I cannot take away the pain and stress his family is going through, but we can try and alleviate some of the financial burden.
