Help James Perkins Overcome Cancer and Continue His Music

My name is James Perkins and I'm a 50+ year veteran of the jazz performing and recording community originating from the Chicago area. Even though my vocation is primarily in the Jazz genre, my participation has been enjoyed and recognized across the musical spectrum in almost every form of musical performance with some of the best artists known locally, nationally, and internationally. My performing platform has been offering healing remedies and resources by providing therapeutic and recreational music that affects listeners' recuperation, recovery, and enjoyment efforts in many ways and aspects generally not available utilizing traditional treatment methods. Even though the platform has not been subjected to clinical evaluation, time and experience have proven it to be highly successful in its application. A primary goal is to have the platform recognized and its implementation as a part of the baseline standard of the clinical treatment process for physical, psychological, spiritual, and (if applicable), emotional disorders and conditions. Musical and artistic enrichment is an integral part of the total health system of living that all societal systems thrive in. It's my mission to see widespread access instituted and offered to all who desire to participate as part of a more meaningful and qualitative way of enhancing life's experiences. That's what I do for my primary occupation. Who I am is a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend to many wonderful people who have made life better by knowing them! I am a hard worker who hopes to fully enjoy the fruit of my efforts in life. I take pleasure in helping others and derive self-worth in part from such endeavors.

Recently, I received a diagnosis of cancer detected in my right lung which I will be undergoing surgical treatment and aftercare. Due to this diagnosis amongst my many other illnesses, I've been unable to work and have accumulated an astronomical amount of medical bills which I have no insurance to cover the necessary costs. This has left me and my family in a financial hardship and unable to pay my rent, daily living expenses, and medical bills.

As you might imagine this is an extremely difficult for me and my family and any assistance that you can provide will be greatly appreciated as it is of an urgent need.
