Hi My name is Kristen and I am starting this fundraiser for my longtime friend James Maguire. One may know as Jim, or James, or JIMBO but you most likely know him! A lifelong resident of Hampton Bays, the owner of James Maguire Antiques, the husband to Emily, and the friend to countless. One of the smartest and funniest guys I know- a true friend! Sadly, Jim has recently been diagnosed with Colon Cancer and has just started undergoing the necessary treatment to fight this battle. There have been some unfortunate hiccups along the way that have made this situation far more difficult. The treatment has taken a serious toll on Jim. His ability to work as much as he once did has definitely changed. To make matters more complicated, once Chemotherapy is completed, Jim will the prepare for open heart surgery. There is a long road ahead. As you can imagine the financial stress of this is great and the purpose of this fundraiser is to ease any of that so that he may focus on his health.
