Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out today on behalf of my dear friend, James Lane, and his family. Earlier this year, James was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. He has bravely undergone two major surgeries—one in February and another in June—to remove tumors from both sides of his brain.
While the surgeries have helped reduce the tumor mass, James faces a long road of treatment ahead. He has also experienced some loss of mobility on the left side of his body. He can still walk, but he is currently unable to drive, which has made daily life even more challenging for him and his family.
James is a proud and private person, and like many of us, finds it difficult to ask for help. But the reality is that he can use some help with essential expenses. (Thankfully, food is being provided through other support.) While additional financial assistance is expected, there is a waiting period before it arrives—leaving the family in a difficult spot right now.
If you are able, even the smallest contribution would mean so much to James and his family. A GoFundMe page has been set up here.
If you’d like more information, please feel free to reach out to me here on Facebook or here.
On behalf of James and his family, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Fred
