James traveled to Las Vegas to visit friends when he suddenly became very sick and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors are now fighting to save his feet after severe infections led to Osteomyelitis in both feet. If IV antibiotics do not work, he may lose his left third toe and three toes on his right foot. He is expected to remain hospitalized for at least 6 weeks while doctors do everything they can to stop the infection and save his feet.

This experience has been overwhelming emotionally, physically, and financially. James is far from home, facing uncertainty and pain every day. The medical bills are mounting, and he will need ongoing care and support during his recovery. Being separated from his beloved pet in St. Croix adds to the emotional toll, and he dreams of returning home to continue healing surrounded by love.

James will need help covering recovery expenses, medical costs, and eventually getting home to St. Croix to reunite with his pet and continue healing.
