Support James After a Devastating Pedestrian Accident

On April 10, 2026, after returning home from a Mariners game, my little brother, James Weinstein, was hit by a speeding hit-and-run driver and then run over by a second car while lying in the roadway near his home.

James is just 32 years old and is a beloved son, brother, uncle, partner, and friend. He is known for his big heart and generous spirit.

The accident left James in critical condition with a broken clavicle, broken arm, cracked ribs, a broken femur, and a severed artery in his leg. He nearly lost his life. Thanks to the quick actions of first responders, the surgeons and medical team at St. Joseph Medical Center, his life was saved. We are still hoping for another miracle and that his leg will be preserved as well.

James is currently in the ICU and is expected to remain in the hospital for at least a month, followed by months of recovery and time away from work. Although he has insurance, this accident will bring significant financial strain. Medical expenses, lost income, and everyday costs will create a heavy burden in the months ahead.
