Help James Get His Spine Back

I have recently been diagnosed with degenerative disk disease. This diagnosis includes stenosis of the spine, disc degeneration, resulting in extremely painful bone on bone contact.

This condition is causing me constant pain, and accelerated limited mobility, and severe neuropathy in my feet. I feel crushing pain in my low back and have trouble sometimes even walking from room to room.

I have been withdrawing from a lot of social activities for many years now because of the pain, and find myself sitting or lying down to reduce the nerve irritations I'm experiencing.

The surgeon I am now seeing has offered the best solution so far which is to fuse my L5-S1, put an artificial disk at L4-L5, and to clean up the stenosis. Medicare won't pay for an artificial disk. I want to be able to stand and walk again without pain. This surgery will help me be pain-free and regain an active life.
