Hi Everyone! This is Gina DiGirolamo, James’ fiancé of 10 years and Best Friend Forever!!! I started this account to try to raise money in order to be able to Fight for Jim’s Last Wishes, which were specifically to be cremated and his ashes distributed amongst myself as well as Jim’s (2) biological children, Kaylee & Logan; my son, Zackary, who Jim had also helped raise and loved dearly as his own; our daughter, Hana, who we gave up for adoption to my brother, Anthony and his wife, Tara; and their son, AJ, with whom Jim felt very close. Jim specifically wanted to have a little bit of his ashes placed inside Teddy Bears for each one of them to have in memory of him. He wanted Teddy Bears, in particular, so that the kids could hold and hug them as if to give Jim a hug.
As for Jim’s ashes that are to go to me, they are to be held in safe keeping until one day when I finally pass away as well Jim’s ashes will be mixed with some of my ashes. Then, we can become intertwined - like the two trees: the oak and the linden from the Greek mythological story of Baucis & Philemon. And we shall spend all of eternity together, inseparable.
This was Jim’s dream!!! These are his Last Wishes!!!
But, yet, Jim’s family members are fighting with me - legally - over whether Jim gets buried (their wishes) or cremated (as stated above - his wishes - which are also written in Jim’s Last Will, signed, witnessed & notarized).
Mourning the Loss of my Partner, my Soulmate, and my Best Friend is Hard Enough - without having to go through All of this!!!
And, working as a residential counselor at a nonprofit mental health organization, I do not make much money!! But I Love what I Do!! I Love Helping people & I Learned some of that Humanitarianism from Jim, who Loved to socialize, had a Heart of Gold, & taught me the Value in feeding & giving to the homeless!!!
So, with that all in mind, I Need YOUR HELP!!!! I Can’t Do this Alone!! Please Help me to Help Give James his Last Wishes!!!!! So that he may Rest In Peace!!!
Please Donate Whatever You Can!!! Every little Bit Helps & it Goes a Long way!!!!
My Deepest & Most Sincere Thanks,
Gina DiGirolamo
