trans couple’s house flooded

Hello, beloved friends

 

James, Turbo and their two animals need a hand relocating after their home flooded during the wild ass storm that happened the week of 10/24. The house is now completely uninhabitable, and there’s no clear answer from their land lord about when these damages will be addressed. The land lord wants to completely gut and remodel the house, with no plan of providing appropriate accommodations in the meantime. 

All funds will go toward a deposit for a new place, first month’s rent, renting a moving truck, and the cost to replace a mattress that was soaked with flood water. If anything is left over it will be redistributed to qtbipoc mutual aids.
