James is 93 years old and I have seen him on the Dunmore road where I live many times pushing his cart around.

Today I saw him sat down by the woodlands in his chair very tired as he said and just trying to get to the shop.

I asked him if he needs help and does he have any family or support which he said he doesn’t. So I spoke with him and pushed him up the road and asked him questions about his current situation where he does need assistance clearly.

I suggested an alternative to his current way of getting around for example some electric assisted mobility he was very excited and that was something he agreed whole heartedly would help him on his daily outings to the shop.

I have his home address and I would hope that we can come together as a community and help James upgrade from a push trolly to something that will get him from A to B with less stress and make his life easier.
