Help James Get a permanent Home.

Hello my name is James Stewart. Recently over the last year life has got rough for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease and Diabetic Retinopathy. I live in Vallejo, California and because of my illness over the last year things have become incredibly hard for me. I am asking for this help so that I can find a place for me and my loved ones - my boyfriend who is deathly afraid of going back to work because he himself is asymptomatic and without insurance, my sister who moved out here to get out a bad relationship and living conditions, and our roommate who doesn't have anywhere else to go if something happens.

We need a way to get into a better situation and I believe that being able to put a down payment on a Mobile or Modular home is our best bet. We've crunched the numbers and we can afford monthly bills and rent, but the down payment itself is an impossible dream since our savings have been sapped due to the pandemic. It also will help me with treatments as well since if I had my own place I can also start Home Dialysis which would really be of more benefit to me since I can have my current dialysis catheter removed from my heart and have less pressure on there, and help me to becoming healthier since I won't be unable to do anything three days a week because of going to the dialysis center itself - being able to do it overnight would mean I can go back to full time work myself.

We have been looking for places to move to and because of our income limitations it has been hard to find anything affordable where we live. Please I beg of you to have a open heart and mind to help me get through these hardships. All I really want is to be able to secure a place for me in these times of struggle. Since I have been diagnosed with CKD stage 5 there has been many ups and downs this past year and I have not been able to work and I am quickly running out of funds and options.
