Hello, my name is James, and I’m reaching out with a humble and heavy heart. I never imagined I would be in this position having to ask strangers for help just to stay alive.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with a serious heart condition that requires a pacemaker to keep my heart beating properly. Without it, my doctors have told me that my life is at serious risk. Unfortunately, my Medicare coverage does not include the cost of the pacemaker or the surgery needed to implant it. I’ve explored every option available, but I simply cannot afford it on my own.

Every day I wake up feeling weaker, wondering if my heart will hold on long enough. I don’t want to die not when there’s still so much life I want to live, so many people I want to love, and so much good I still hope to do in this world.
