My name is James, and I’m facing one of the toughest battles of my life: liver cancer. Living alone and relying solely on Social Security, I’ve been struggling to keep up with the mounting costs of ambulance rides, hospital co-pays, doctor visits, and the daily essentials like groceries and medications. My credit cards are maxed out just trying to cover the basics, and the financial pressure is overwhelming.

Fifteen years ago, I lost my wife of 33 years to Multiple Sclerosis. Since then, I’ve been on my own, with my closest family living many miles away.
