Help James Faul with Catastrophic Medical Care
Donation protected
On 6-12-24, this previously vibrant, active, wonderful man, James Faul, was involved in a horrific tractor accident that left him completely paralyzed, a quadriplegic. After spending 1-1/2 months in the hospital, he was recently discharged from the hospital to home on 7-31-24. His wife, Carolyn, will be taking care of him at home, which is a HUGE job because he needs 24/7 care. As you can imagine, the medical costs associated with caring for him are staggering, and Medicare does not cover everything.
They will be selling a lot of their personal possessions in order to try and purchase all the necessary medical equipment James will need, including a wheelchair van, medical bed that will turn him every few hours to avoid bedsores, a wheelchair shower chair, and on and on and on. In addition, they will be hiring a night nurse so that Carolyn can get some much-needed rest/sleep at night. Their new normal is looking pretty bleak for both of them.
They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past February and had booked an Alaskan cruise for this month, August, to celebrate their 50th. Needless to say, that won’t be happening.
The need is great, and they would appreciate anything you can spare. And above all else, please pray for this beautiful couple
