Help James Compete at USMC Nationals

Hello Calhoun and Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs Wrestling Family,

We’re proud to share some exciting news! James Chicco, a sophomore at Calhoun High School, has qualified to represent Team New York at the US Marine Corps National Wrestling Championships in Fargo, North Dakota, competing in both Greco-Roman and Freestyle divisions. This prestigious tournament—the largest Olympic-style wrestling event in the world—will take place July 12th–20th.

It's an incredible achievement for James, a former Bulldog and current Colt, to be selected for this honor and represent New York on the national stage.

To support James on this journey, the Calhoun High School Wrestling Club, the Bellmore-Merrick Bulldogs, and the Calhoun Wrestling Alumni Association are coming together to raise funds. These contributions will help cover essential expenses, including:

Pre-tournament training camps with Team NY

Airfare to and from Fargo

Team uniforms

Lodging and meals during the week-long competition

Any financial support you can offer would mean the world to James and our wrestling community.
