Help James Collier's Family Rebuild After Fire

Donation protected
My name is Brad Von Haden, and I am the Patrol Sergeant for the Kensington, NH Police Department. I first had the pleasure of meeting James Collier in May 2023 when he arrived at the Kensington Police Department from the Newton Police Department. James graduated from the 183rd Full-Time NH Police Academy in December 2020. He has a beautiful young family, including his girlfriend, Emma Czar, and their two amazing daughters, ages 3 and 4.

In 2022, James suffered a knee injury that required surgery. He underwent this surgery in October 2023 and was off work until March 2024. Unfortunately, the healing process did not go as planned, and James needed a second surgery to address the issues. This surgery took place in February 2025, and he is scheduled to return to work this August. During this time, James and his family faced significant financial hardship, as many of us would without a full income.

On July 8, 2025, tragedy struck when a fire broke out on the second floor of the apartment where James's family lives, destroying their home. Due to the financial burdens from being out of work, James had to cut back on expenses, including renters' insurance. As a result, the family lost nearly all their possessions.

What happened to James and his family could happen to any one of us at any time. Please consider donating to this young family to help them get back on their feet. Every contribution, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
