Jim Barcelona Sr. Update
On behalf of our family, we would again like to thank everyone that shared best wishes, prayers, and contributions for my kids father’s care. Unfortunately Jim was unable to win his battle and has gone on to be with other family members that left before him. Technology provided family members the opportunity to watch and speak to Jim as he was being cared for his entire time in the hospital including his final passing. He was able to hear messages of love from everyone. Jim’s partner provided constant care and never left his side during his final days. Jim was living his best life and sadly it was taken from him far too soon. In addition to his medical care, we are faced with the expense of bringing Jim home. Please know your contributions will continue to assist the family until he is resting back at home.

- Please Share - Hi everyone, We are fundraising for James Barcelona as he is currently stuck in the Philippines on a ventilator with Covid Pneumonia. He has been fighting this for over 3 weeks now, but his medical expenses are adding up fast. The hospitals in the Philippines will not accept Medicare, and he has already hit his hospital credit limit for treatments. We have been doing everything we can to ensure he is continuing to get the best care, but could really use some help. This fund me will help pay for his medical bills, continuing treatment, and then getting him back home.
The hospital does not allow treatment unless paid in advance. Any assistance you can provide even $1 will help get James home so that he can get the medical care that he truly needs. The Philippine hospitals do not provide the same medicines and care as American hospitals. This is the absolute worse case scenario we could ever imagine for anyone.
