HELP LYNAE AS SHE MOURNS JAMES

11/17/2024 UPDATE: It's with a heavy heart that I report James passed away on November 15th around 3 am. Lynae was with him in his final hours, holding his hand and telling him she loved him until he went to sleep for one last time. He was doing so well and progressing in healing, so this news shocked us all. His feeding tube somehow got pulled out which led to sepsis and the doctors couldn't do anything to save him. Lynae will need funds to cover her bills while she grieves the loss of her fiancé, her very best friend in this world. The rest of the funds will go toward a memorial service and headstone up here in Washington. Thank you all for your support through this devastating time. Lynae needs all the support you can give her during the worst time of her life.

Original post: On the morning of Oct 12th, Lynae's partner James told her that he had a headache and wasn’t feeling well. They canceled plans with friends so he could nap and see how he felt afterward. Mid nap, his snoring had changed to almost gasps for air. Lynae tried to wake him up but couldn’t. She called for an ambulance and James was taken to the hospital. He was found to have had an aneurysm. To get better care, he was transferred to Swedish Cherry Hill. He had emergency surgery when he arrived to insert coils and drain all excess blood from his brain. Due to the aneurysm, he also had 2 minor strokes. Since the surgery, he has been making progress in his path to recovery (responding to touch, his feet and hands are moving as well as opening an eye!) but it’s slow and uncertain with every day that passes.

Lynae has been by his side every day since. His parents, friends, and family have flown up to visit him and be with him as well. He’s very loved and has always been a gentle and kind soul. He's always been there for his friends and family and this GoFundMe is being set up as a way for the people in his life who want to help but don't know how to donate what they can to assist in his recovery. Anyone who has spent a prolonged time in the hospital knows that not only is it medical costs, but the time one's unable to work that compounds expenses. They live together and both work but since his aneurysm she is almost out of paid time off and she wants to remain by his side to help him fight during these crucial days ahead. For now, we are asking for just a month’s worth of expenses for them while they go through this ordeal. He has a long road to recovery so anything helps tremendously!
