Support for the Burke family

James and Larita Burke and their 12 adopted foster children are facing an unimaginable loss after a fire destroyed their home while they were asleep. The roof of the house was on fire, and if not for a man passing by who saw the flames and stopped to get them out, this tragedy could have been even worse. They made it out safely, but they lost everything in the fire, including their car and van. This heartbreaking loss came only two weeks after James finished chemo and radiation for tonsil cancer, making this an especially heavy time for the entire family.
