I'm Tammy Carter and I'm reaching out to our awesome community to try to help our son and grandson recover from a fire.

On the evening of November 15th, a fire erupted in their kitchen and destroyed their kitchen and appliances. Our local fire department (and our family members) came and due to their heroic efforts, the fire was quickly put out, but there are windows and drywall that need to be replaced, in addition to the smoke damage and repairs needed inside.

Their insurance had just lapsed due to the high cost from the California (un)FAIR Plan, so none of the repairs will be covered, unfortunately.

James has worked in valet at Chukchansi for 20 years, and James Jr. is a senior at YHS and on the wrestling team.

Please help us get these guys back into their home before the holidays.
