If you know James, you know the kind of person he is. He’s the first to lend a helping hand, the one who puts his family above everything else, and someone who has always worked hard to provide for the people he loves. At just 41 years old, James has been diagnosed with B-cell Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. While his doctors are hopeful and have shared that this type of cancer often responds well to treatment, the road ahead is still uncertain and will not be easy. They are looking at 6 months, at least ,of chemo (and possible radiation) and whatever other treatments to battle this disease. James has already spent over a week in the hospital waiting for a diagnosis, and now the hospital will keep him during his first round of treatment. The family is not sure when he will be able to come home and continue treatment from home, which adds uncertainty and stress to an already difficult situation.

James is the primary provider for his family. His wife, Adrienne, is now facing the unimaginable challenge of caring for her husband while also supporting their two wonderful children, Nora and Tristan, through one of the most difficult times of their young lives. Instead of worrying only about doctor’s appointments, treatments, and helping James heal, they are also faced with the financial stress that comes with losing their family’s primary income.
