We’re trying to help my dad and step-mom after their house was flooded by recent unexpected rains. While the main floor of the house is relatively untouched, the basement has 8 feet of water in it. The insurance company will not be paying out due to lack of flood coverage, so anything helps to get personal items replaced. There are many things that can’t be replaced like personal mementos and keepsakes.

Anyone who knows my father, James, knows he would give you the shirt off his back, and he has put his heart and soul into renovating the house for years to make it their dream home.

Anything raised will go towards general repair after the water has been pumped out, and the remainder will go to replacing that which was damaged or destroyed.
