Our dear friend, Jamelle, and her two amazing children need our help to *really* start their new life in California.

As we know, moving back to California a few months ago was in Jamelle, Sarai and Maison's best interest when Matthew made his decision to set out on his own, and it has not been an easy road for our three loves since.

Matthew has put together and is trying to force Jamelle to sign paperwork that is only in his best interest, and not in the best interest of the children or Jamelle. And, of course, he is being unkind. Our earth angel friend needs a lawyer ($2,000 up front) in order to put all this nonsense to rest once and for all. She has a family friend who is trying to help but a proper lawyer is needed.

I also propose an extra $2,000 if we can manage it to help her put a deposit down on a place of their own to live. They have been staying with family and struggling to make ends, and though it is kind of extended family to help, every family needs their own living space.

I would give all this to her if I could, but I don't have it on my own and I know I'm not the only one who loves and appreciates Jamelle and her endless kindness. Their extended family has recently experienced some unfortunate deaths and so it is time for us, her friends, to step in.
