Jamar is a close friend whom I’ve known for quite some time. His story truly touched my heart when I learned that he is a single father working diligently to make ends meet while doing his best to provide for his family. Over the past few years while living in Jamaica, Jamar has faced several painful challenges, including the loss of his father and significant damage caused by Hurricane Beryl and Hurricane Melissa. Despite these hardships, he has remained determined and continues working hard every day to rebuild his life and keep his farm running.

Through perseverance and dedication, Jamar has continued serving his community with fresh food and produce, but he still faces major obstacles. One of his biggest challenges is transportation. With limited access to a reliable vehicle, it has become difficult for him to deliver goods efficiently to customers and members of the community who depend on his farm. We are raising funds to help him purchase reliable transportation so he can continue growing his farm, serving the community, and expanding access to fresh food for those who need it most.
