Help Jamanda and Her Family From Hardship

Hello, my name is Jamanda, and I’m a proud mother of beautiful little girls. I’m reaching out with a humble heart because my family is going through a really difficult time right now, and we’re running out of options.

Recently, I fell behind on rent after losing my job. I’ve been doing everything I can to get back on my feet, and I’m grateful to say that I start a new job on October 20th. Unfortunately, my landlord isn’t willing to wait until my first paycheck, and we’ve been given an eviction date of Tuesday, October 14th.

I’ve tried everything I can to find help — from pawning personal items, applying for loans, and reaching out to local churches, to contacting rental assistance programs (which are currently not accepting applications due to the gov shutdown). Despite all my efforts, I’ve come up short and time is running out.

We need to raise $1,000 to cover rent, court costs, and late fees to stop the eviction and keep a roof over our heads. Even if we end up having to move, these funds will help with relocation and application costs while I transition back into work.

I’m just a mother trying her best to provide stability and safety for her children. Any amount — big or small — would truly make a difference. And if you’re not able to give financially, your prayers and shares are deeply appreciated.
